When can I start Isis Phase II?

Isis Phase II should be started the day after ovulation. Ovulation is the point in the female cycle when an ovary releases an egg ready for fertilization. Several signs can help identify the symptoms and timing of ovulation:

A slight pain or heaviness in the lower abdomen, such as a pinching sensation on the right or left side.
      Mild breast tenderness.
Clear, stretchy cervical mucus resembling raw egg white.
A drop in basal body temperature followed by a slight increase the next morning upon waking.

How to Lengthen Your Luteal Phase?

Lengthening the Luteal Phase to Improve Conception Chances

Lengthening the luteal phase can enhance conception chances by allowing the endometrium to develop sufficiently to support successful embryo implantation. Here are several strategies to achieve this:

Vitamin B6 Supplementation: Vitamin B6 is well-known for its role in hormonal regulation. It can help extend the luteal phase by naturally increasing progesterone production. A daily dose of 50 to 100 mg may be effective, but it’s essential to consult a healthcare professional before starting any supplements.

Chaste Tree (Vitex agnus-castus): This herb is recognized for its ability to boost progesterone levels and balance female hormones. It is often used to address hormonal imbalances.

Reduce Stress: Stress can disrupt hormones and shorten the luteal phase. Engaging in stress management techniques like yoga, meditation, and deep breathing exercises can help regulate the menstrual cycle and extend the luteal phase.

By implementing these strategies, it’s possible to improve ovulation quality and support the corpus luteum's function, which boosts progesterone production and prolongs the luteal phase. Before taking any steps, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional to ensure a personalized and safe approach.

I want to boost my luteal phase only; can I take only Isis Phase II?

For greater effectiveness, we recommend using both formulas, Isis Phase 1 and Isis Phase 2, according to the cycle period. However, you may also take them separately based on your needs if you prefer.

How to calculate your luteal phase?

How to Calculate the Luteal Phase:

To calculate your luteal phase, follow these steps:

Basal Body Temperature (BBT): Take your temperature every morning before getting out of bed. A slight rise in BBT indicates ovulation. The luteal phase begins the day of ovulation and ends the day before your next period.

Cervical Mucus Observation: During ovulation, cervical mucus becomes clear, stretchy, and resembles raw egg whites. This can also signal ovulation.

Ovulation Tests: Use ovulation tests to detect the luteinizing hormone (LH) surge, which occurs just before ovulation. A positive result means ovulation is near.

Duration Calculation: Count the days between ovulation and the start of your next period to determine the length of your luteal phase. It typically lasts 12 to 16 days.

By using these methods, you can accurately calculate the length of your luteal phase, which is crucial for understanding your menstrual cycle, optimizing conception chances, or other family planning purposes.

Why is my luteal phase too short?

A short luteal phase, often defined as less than 10 days, can be caused by several factors, mainly related to hormonal imbalances. Here are common reasons:

      Luteal Insufficiency
Luteal insufficiency is a condition where the corpus luteum does not produce enough progesterone after ovulation. Progesterone is essential for maintaining the endometrium and allowing embryo implantation. A lack of progesterone shortens the luteal phase.

      Stress
Chronic stress can disrupt hormonal balance, particularly by increasing cortisol levels, which can interfere with progesterone production and shorten the luteal phase.

      Thyroid Problems
Thyroid disorders, such as hypothyroidism, can affect the production of reproductive hormones and contribute to a short luteal phase.

      Intensive Exercise
Excessive or intense physical exercise can lead to hormonal imbalances, including reduced progesterone production, thereby affecting the luteal phase duration.

      Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
PCOS can lead to irregular menstrual cycles and hormonal imbalances, including insufficient progesterone production during the luteal phase.

      Premature Ovarian Insufficiency
This condition, where the ovaries stop functioning properly before the age of 40, can lead to irregular cycles and short luteal phases due to insufficient hormone production.

      Nutritional Deficiencies
A diet lacking essential nutrients such as vitamins B6 and E, zinc, and omega-3 fatty acids can affect hormone production and shorten the luteal phase.

What are the signs of progesterone deficiency?

-Irregular cycles, heavy or short periods.
      -Intense premenstrual symptoms (pain, irritability).
-Difficulty getting pregnant or early miscarriages.

      How to increase progesterone levels?

Adopt a varied diet rich in antioxidants, engage in moderate physical activity, and take appropriate supplements such as Isis Phase II to stimulate the natural production of progesterone.

      How to increase progesterone levels?

      Which vitamin to increase progesterone?

Vitamin B6 is particularly effective in supporting the synthesis of progesterone. When combined with vitamins E and B9, as found in Isis Phase II, it provides optimal hormonal support.

      Luteal Phase and Progesterone: Explanations

The luteal phase is a crucial stage of the menstrual cycle. It begins after ovulation and ends at the start of menstruation. During this time, progesterone, a hormone essential for preparing the uterus for a potential pregnancy, plays a central role. An imbalance in progesterone levels can lead to irregular cycles, difficulty conceiving, and exacerbated premenstrual symptoms (PMS).

      Progesterone Deficiency and Infertility

      Increased Progesterone
The luteal phase begins immediately after ovulation and ends at the start of menstruation. Ideally, it lasts between 12 and 14 days, allowing the endometrium (uterine lining) to thicken and prepare to receive the embryo. However, if the luteal phase is too short (less than 10 days), the progesterone level may be insufficient to maintain a favorable environment for implantation.

Consequences of a Short Luteal Phase

      • Infertility: The embryo doesn’t have enough time to implant properly, leading to conception failure.
      • Early Miscarriage: An unstable implantation increases the risk of early pregnancy loss.
      • Irregular Cycles: Low progesterone production can also disrupt the entire menstrual cycle.

Solutions for a Short Luteal Phase

      • Progesterone Supplements: Taking supplements like Isis Phase II, rich in Vitex and Vitamin B6, can stimulate natural progesterone production.
      • Lifestyle Adaptations: A varied diet rich in essential nutrients, along with stress management, can also improve luteal phase length.

      Too Thin Endometrium

The endometrium is the lining that covers the inside of the uterus. Under the influence of progesterone, it thickens to accommodate and nourish an embryo. If progesterone levels are insufficient, the endometrium remains too thin, reducing the chances of implantation and increasing infertility risks.

Causes of a Too Thin Endometrium:

      • Progesterone Deficiency: Without this hormone, the endometrium’s vascularization and thickening are insufficient.
      • Hormonal Imbalances: Disruptions in estrogen and progesterone levels can interfere with the development of the endometrium.
      • Lifestyle Factors: Chronic stress, poor nutrition, or reduced blood flow to the uterus.

Consequences of a Too Thin Endometrium:

      • Difficulty Conceiving: A thin endometrium cannot support embryo implantation.
      • Increased Risk of Miscarriage: Even with implantation, a fragile endometrium can lead to early pregnancy loss.

      Solutions to Thicken the Endometrium:

      • L-Arginine and Coenzyme Q10: These ingredients in Isis Phase II promote better blood circulation to the uterus, supporting endometrial health.
      • Alpha Lipoic Acid: This powerful antioxidant protects the endometrial cells from oxidative stress and encourages their regeneration.
      • Vitamin B6 and B9 Supplementation: These vitamins support hormonal functions and the optimal development of the endometrium.
